GREAT HEIGHTS
Using Variation to Create Balance and Trust
OUR PHILOSOPHY
After years in the horse industry, we noticed that equestrians focus on training within their discipline alone. While this is the expected approach, at Great Heights Stable we feel that goals within one's discipline can be better reached through the monthly incorporation of new elements not specific to just one athletic specialty. This process leads to a horse who is more physically and mentally healthy, which is the foundation for a lasting partnership.
At Great Heights Stable we look to improve your riding experience by addressing gaps in your training program. By incorporating our techniques, you will establish partnership, trust, confidence, balance, strength, comfort with the unexpected, building versatility into your "tool kit" or adding to your problem solving tools that all equestrians need.
In order to have a safe and versatile horse, it is important to regularly vary your training activities. Through frequent variations, your partnership will strengthen, your riding skills will improve in all areas, and both you and your horse will be more physically fit for your discipline. This means reduced injuries, longer performance career, no more frustration when things go wrong, and a more mentally balanced horse. Great Heights Stable aims to create a comfortable partnership that is set up for success, regardless of what your riding goals are.
Let us know what your riding goals or discipline is. Tell us about the clinicians you follow or the programs that your practice with your horse. Also, think about what is stopping you from achieving success. At Great Heights Stable, we follow up with a structured assessment process that results in an individualized program designed to specifically meet your needs.
We will not replace your existing programs, but simply look to add variation within your program in order to allow you and your horse to excel for years to come.
